David Stones-”You and Me” Exhibition
David Stones current works are small and intimate, using watercolour and ink on Arches Paper, involving mostly single figures or groups in activities as diverse as dancing and fighting.
The themes ponder changes in held belief, personal histories, reflections on human actions and emotions. Some of the images may be familiar, as they are based directly on works such as Botticelli’s “Primavera”. While others consider personal history.
